I love movies and I do not have any specific fave movie genre but what I love most are action and indie movies or cartoons and animation sometimes<------seriously The Fox and the Hound from Disney makes my eyes leak..you know what I mean huhu.
I admire Coraline because it has been written by one of my fave author Neil Gaiman not Gay only pronounced as Gayman okay...I'm not insulting you Mr Gaiman!! I love all your works such as Mirror Mask and The graveyard book,for books I prefer investigation series and horror stories,I'm the only girl in school who doesn't read romance novels hehe..my friends always scream when they tell the synopsis of some of the novels they read to each other...which I don't have any interest to know because it should be PG right?.
Back to the Topic! Coraline brought a massive impact on my life-maybe not so massive- somehow I think she represents me in my real life...what she felt about her parents, and what she did to them.. The story begins with a young girl that just moved from Michigan to a small town,and she was bored when her parents got so many work to do and ignored all of her whines,so she decided to go to a small door inside the house they rented... She was shocked because the small door turned out to be a portal to another world where a place that exactly looks like her rented house only the world was perfect and she even met her other mother and other father
...which they had buttons for eyes
They gave her love,and everything she wants but one day..her other parents wanted to sew button eyes for her..and that made her wanted to back to the real world
Her other mother was the wicked one she's the mastermind to have Coraline as her food..before she became Coraline's other mother she already kidnapped 3 other children.She spied each children with a doll that look exactly like them before opening the portal.After Coraline manage to get back into the real world,she found out her parents has been abducted by the other mother and trapped them in a snow globe,Coraline determined to rescue her parents from the other mother by going back to the the other world with a cat which helped her a lot to confront the other mother..in order to save her parents..Coraline had to play a game to search for the 3 ghost eyes which belong to the children that has been eaten by the other mother
..She finally defeated them but the last riddle..the other mother asked"where is your parents",Coraline quickly grabbed the snow globe and defeated the other mother.Unfortunately the story doesn't ends here,her other mother did not give up when her hand that made from needles try to search for the key to the portal..Coraline had a dream that told her to get rid of the key to the portal.. She went to a well and that is when the another battle start when the other mother's hand almost killed her,Wybie her friend came to rescue her,they crushed the hand that is made from needles and throw it in the well along with the key to the portal.
Wybie's grandma who owns Coraline's rented house told her that her sister went missing when they were young.The other mother took her away..and so after rescuing her parents and shutting down the portal.Coraline's parents change,they did not ignore her anymore The End~phew
